#USA #LA – A 23-year-old male from Mansfield, Louisiana, was charged with sexually abusing three adolescent minors while conducting Baptist missionary work in Haiti, according to newly unsealed federal court documents.
Maylon Jesse Foshee, described as an international missionary, engaged in sexual conduct with three Haitian boys during trips to the country from 2023 to 2025, FBI agents said. All three boys were 14 at the time of the alleged abuse and lived with Foshee, officials said. Investigators said Foshee worked closely with children in Haiti, helping them attend school, and that some stayed at his home there.
At least two of the victims told investigators they were living with the Louisiana man because of troubles at home. One victim said Foshee was paying for his schooling. That same victim told agents he was sexually abused over several months and wanted Foshee to stop but could not. The boy said he was afraid of Foshee, who would scream at him and sometimes beat him with a belt.
Agents first learned of the allegations when they were contacted by separate people who did similar work in Haiti. Those individuals told investigators that several children had reported Foshee had engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with them.
As rumors circulated, Foshee left a voicemail with one of the unnamed people who later spoke to the FBI. In that voicemail, Foshee said that except for him initiating sexual contact with one of the underage victims, the others “came onto” him. He also said he had “fixed the problem,” according to the criminal complaint.
A federal court in Shreveport ordered Foshee into the custody of the U.S. Marshals. As of late September 2026, he was being held at the Bossier Parish Jail pending a detention hearing. He was represented by the Federal Public Defender’s office. The charges and allegations have not yet been proven in a court of law.
Some reports noted Foshee is also known as a popular Kreyòl-speaking TikToker. However, this account has not been located on the platform, although an earlier account with Foshee’s name was available, but has since been deleted. TikTok videos were available on a separate channel that showed Foshee teaching English.
