Description: The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes (1894), the second collection of short stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, feature eleven gripping tales that showcase Sherlock Holmes at the height of his deductive powers. This collection captures Holmes’ razor-sharp intellect, his use of disguise, and occasional flashes of human emotion.

The Hound of the Baskervilles (1902) begins in London when Holmes is consulted on the death of Sir Charles Baskerville, found dead on his Devonshire estate with a look of utter terror on his face. An ancient family curse looms large: centuries earlier, the wicked Sir Hugo Baskerville met his ends at the jaws of a gigantic, demonic hound on the fog-shrouded moors of Dartmoor. Now, with the new heir Sir Henry arriving from Canada, ominous warnings and sightings of a glowing, spectral beast suggest the curse has claimed another victim – or is there something else at play?

The Whitewolf Classic edition of this work contains the original English text from the 19th century.
